We Will Eventually Die A Poem

By Malik Afshan

I will never see the moon.
I will never see the sky.
I will keep suffering in my room,
And eventually die.

I can never have a home.
I can never feel alive.
I will keep staring at the sky,
And eventually die.

In different parts of the world,
With different souls alive
One searching for a life,
The other wants to die.

While crushing their souls
In rooms or under the sky,
They will bleed in silence,
And eventually die.

We are destined to meet
At the cost of our life.
She’s addicted to darkness,
And all I’ve got is light.
I will always keep it dim,
So that we can survive.

He’s a thoughtful, sincere guy.
I’ve got a habit to destroy.
I’ll keep with me the dark,
The darkest of the dark,
So that we can’t survive
And eventually die.
